Markos and Mark Sumner — You two have been on fire recently with the Ukraine coverage. I admit to not understanding the granular detail of troop movements or tactics or maps but I must say, although I don't understand some of it, the news you guys bring from the front lines of Ukraine has been very educational. I also very much appreciate how you two are so careful with sources and information that has yet to be confirmed. I gotta say, very impressed that the two of you haven’t fallen for unconfirmed rumor or fake news, given the volume of both that exists on twitter. You both do your homework, and it clearly shows!
Denise Oliver Velez and Meteor Blades — I asked you both a question over kosmail recently, and I wanted to say that I am deeply appreciative that you took the time to answer and took my question seriously. I am just kind of an ankle biting back bencher around here, you guys didn’t even have to respond. I really appreciate that you took time out of your respective days to actually talk to me. Thank you.
2thanks and Good News Roundup — Good lord, what would my morning be without my daily dose of good news. I have been in a pretty sour mood lately, at least politically, it is so nice to have a check on that cynicism. Thanks for all your hard work 2thanks and the Good News team. Everyone at bkos — You all are amazing. Again, I don’t participate a lot in bkos, I try to drop by every once in a while to the porch to sit, but I do lurk A LOT! Both the diaries and the comments are so good, educational, sometimes heart warming. I love the community so much. Embarrassing for me to admit, but I grew up in Oregon and as such, didn’t really grow up around a lot of black perspectives. It has been so great to actually sit, listen and learn. Thanks you guys.

PWB Peeps — I love the animals. I just love them. I have been sick recently and the pics of animals have been amazing. I have introduced you all to Evil Lord Pumps and Sush the Innocent in recent days and plan on posting way more of their exploits. Believe me, there are a lot of them! For real though, amazing community of people over there.

Everyone who helped my wife and I last month — We were struggling financially. My wife works, I am out with long covid, we were broke. But you all pulled through. Most of you who donated are perfect strangers who don’t owe me a penny. You reached out anyway. I have no words that can repay your generosity and kindness. I wish “thank you” were enough.
